Here at Akebar, The Friars Head is our very popular restaurant and pub. As expected, you will find a well-stocked bar, hand-pulled Yorkshire ales, an interesting choice of wines and a traditional blazing log fire to sit by when the weather is chilly.

Golf

Whether your a seasoned proffesional or someone just looking to learn the game and have a bit of fun, we have the facilities for you. With two golf courses and a driving range, its the perfect venue for any golfer.

Akebar Park has held the Gold Award for six years for Conservation and Natural Environment.

Fishing

We have access to the River Cover, which provides plenty of coarse fishing. We also have two ponds, full of Carp, Perch and Tench.

Boating

Also on the River Cover, we can offer a range of boating, including children’s dinghies. This provides hours of fun in warmer months!!
