Welcome to the Akebar Park website. Situated in Wensleydale, an area of outstanding natural beauty with magnificent views and excellent walking, famous for kings, queens and castles, abbeys and waterfalls, with moorland, grouse and purple heather, sheep and lambs and racehorses, green dales and golden corn, real ales and farmhouse teas.

	Come and visit Akebar, a stunning touring caravan, camping and holiday home park, set in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in Lower Wensleydale.

Leave urban life behind; we are without night clubs and fast food bars. We offer a natural environment of peace and tranquility which has been greatly enriched by the more than abundant blessings of nature, history and ancient settlements. Activities such as fishing, walking, golf, petanque, croquet and boules are all available, as well as our traditional pub situated at the entrance to the Park.

You will find us on the A684, 7 miles west of the A1 from Leeming Bar. Follow the white-on-brown tourist signs to Wensleydale.
