We offer a large, south facing, tropical cloister with vines and masses of lushly growing plants, amongst which guests eat by candlelight in the most romantic dining room in the Dales. our food is freshly cooked to order, using delicious local produce in season and we are open for lunch and dinner 7 days each week.

The Friar’s Head is highly regarded by local people and we do not wish our holiday makers to be disappointed; a table reservation is necessary at weekends. You may be assured of good food and wine and a warm welcome.
