The Friar’s Head at Akebar is a typical stone-built Dale pub situated at the entrance to the Park. As expected, you will find a well-stocked bar, hand-pulled Yorkshire ales, an interesting choice of wines and a traditional blazing log fire to sit by when the weather is chilly. The view overlooking the rolling countryside is beautiful and a game of bowls, croquet or pitanque may be played on the lawn.
